Paula's writing career has taken many unexpected turns. Although she began writing historical romance in high school, her first published works were anthologies and a children's book.
When her publisher had to close during the 2008 recession at the same time her husband was diagnosed with Lyme disease, she decided to set her writing to the side (read more of her story here).
